Nonlinear Computational Solid & Fluid Mechanics:

Theoretical formulation, FEM technology and computation

The DFG Graduate College Interaction of Fluid and Structures and the Institute of Scientific Computing, Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany are organising a course in Nonlinear Computational Solid & Fluid Mechanics. The event will take place at the city of Braunschweig, Germany, 24-28 April, 2006. The covered topics are :
  1. Solid and structural mechanics, and their coupling with thermal fields and fluid;

  2. Multi-physics models and multi-scale effects;

  3. Nonlinear behavior of solid and fluid mechanics related to kinematics, equilibrium and constitutive equations;

  4. Code coupling, computational components and partitioned analysis

The course will be taught by : For further details, you are asked to follow the links provided at the left margin of this page.
